Two prep school students, inspired by a compassionate but quirky substitute teacher, solve a dog theft mystery. A riveting, entertaining, high interest story that kids will devour. An excellent introduction to humane education too. Highly recommended. Fiction chapter book. Interest level: Gr. 3-6.
